Real-life mentoring and support for women navigating midlife, ADHD, identity, change and everything in between — with kindness, honesty and no judgement.
I’m Lou — a qualified coach and mentor, business owner, dog mum, eternal dance-music lover and a woman who reached midlife and realised there was a LOT about herself she was only just beginning to understand.
I was diagnosed with ADHD at 49. At the same time, I was navigating perimenopause, huge changes in my personal life, and that slightly terrifying midlife question:
“Who actually am I now?”
For years, I was the capable one. The organiser. The problem-solver. The person other people could rely on.
From the outside, I looked like I had my shit together.
Spoiler: I did not always have my shit together. 😂
That’s partly why Be That Woman exists.
I know what it feels like to question yourself, lose confidence in who you are and spend so much time looking after everyone else that somewhere along the way, you stop asking what you need.
I’m not here to fix you.
I’m here to help you find you.
Everyone arrives with something different. There’s no one-size-fits-all framework here.
Support that meets you where you are, without a rigid programme or somebody else’s idea of what your life should look like.
A standalone 1:1 session for women exploring, questioning or adjusting to ADHD later in life.
Perhaps you’ve recently been diagnosed, you’re waiting for an assessment, you’re wondering whether ADHD could explain some of your experiences, or you’re trying to make sense of what a later-life diagnosis means for you.
What you might come away with:
A standalone 1:1 mentoring session for women questioning who they are, what they want and what comes next.
A chance to untangle what is going on and think about the next chapter without pressure to have all the answers.
Getting older doesn’t mean becoming a watered-down version of yourself.
What you might come away with:
The approach is warm, honest, practical and person-centred.
I’ll listen properly, ask questions, gently challenge your thinking when useful, and share relevant knowledge or lived experience where it may help.
There are no generic productivity hacks and no instructions about how you should live your life.
You’re an individual, so the way we work together should be individual too.
There’s no rigid programme that expects you to fit into a particular box, follow the same steps as everyone else or work towards somebody else’s idea of what your life should look like.
You don’t need to fit the framework. The support needs to fit you.
